About Maryam
Working with learners who navigate two languages often feels like building a bridge between worlds. Since completing my degree at Kent State University, I have supported 174 students in their quest to refine reading comprehension and creative writing.
I integrate grammar and phonics for beginners alongside exam preparation for IELTS or TOEFL. My approach includes academic writing and pronunciation and accent work for those focusing on poetry and prose. We also cover report and email writing plus essay writing, which helps the language sink in a bit.
