About Dr Vijay Kumar
Dr. Vijay Kumar Kalavakunta is a veteran Ayurveda Physician, healthcare executive, and educator with over 20 years of clinical excellence in authentic Kerala Ayurveda and Panchakarma therapies. He serves as the Founder and CEO of Jeevanya Kerala Ayurveda and Siddha Hospital in Visakhapatnam and has guided the setup of more than 30 Panchakarma centers nationwide. Combining deep classical expertise with modern administrative leadership, he also served as Professor of Practice and Associate Dean at Centurion University. Core Highlights & Clinical Focus: Diagnostic & Clinical Mastery: Expert in classical Nādi Pareeksha (pulse diagnosis), comprehensive Panchakarma procedures, and personalized lifestyle medicine. Specialized Therapeutics: Proven clinical track record in managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions, degenerative diseases, autoimmune disorders, gastrointestinal issues, and infertility. Academic & Institutional Leadership: Former Associate Dean and Medical Officer at Centurion Ayurveda Wellness Center, as well as Senior Medical Officer and Hospital Administrator at Santhigiri Ayurveda and Siddha Hospital. Education & Credentials: Graduated with a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery) from SDM College of Ayurveda, Hassan / Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and is a recognized JCI Senator.
