About Thyla
Hello! My name is Thyla Jarrett, and I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals! I have a BA in Biochemistry, and I am currently a first-year MS student in Biochemistry!
I have 2-3 years of experience teaching/tutoring, specifically in group tutoring with multiple students and private TA sessions during college. My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual learning style.

Working with me means you will receive individualized lesson plans based on your changing academic needs/schedule. I utilize hands-on learning where my lessons are interactive and paced based on your needs. I primarily work with Chemistry and Biochemistry college students who need extra assistance in Organic Chemistry I & II, Biochemistry I & II, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, and many more! I am also open to providing mentoring services for students who plan on continuing in academia and potentially graduate school!
