About Mily
I am an enthusiastic Biology tutor with 6 years of teaching experience, committed to helping students discover a clearer and more enjoyable approach to learning Biology. During my teaching career, I have worked with learners at different stages and understand that students often need different approaches to master the same concept.
My lessons are carefully tailored to your academic requirements. I can help you strengthen your foundation, review difficult chapters, prepare for examinations, or practise applying knowledge to challenging questions. I focus on explaining the reasoning behind biological processes so that students develop genuine understanding instead of relying entirely on memorisation.
My areas of support include cell structure and function, genetics, inheritance, anatomy, physiology, ecology, evolution, microbiology, and other curriculum topics. I use visual explanations, relevant examples, guided practice, and targeted questions to make learning more engaging and effective.
I also help students develop valuable examination techniques. Together, we can practise interpreting questions, organising answers, analysing biological data, remembering essential terminology, and identifying common errors. Regular feedback allows us to recognise weaknesses and measure progress.
I aim to provide a positive, patient, and supportive learning environment where students feel confident expressing their ideas and asking questions. My objective is to make Biology easier to understand while encouraging curiosity, independence, and long-term academic confidence.

Discover a clearer and more enjoyable way to learn Biology through lessons tailored specifically to you. I help students turn complicated topics into simple, logical ideas that are easier to understand, recall, and apply. Whether you are new to Biology or looking to improve your exam performance, our sessions will be focused on your personal objectives.
Lessons can cover a wide range of subjects, including molecular and cell biology, genetics, anatomy and physiology, ecology, evolution, and other areas of the curriculum. Rather than relying on memorisation alone, I encourage students to understand the processes behind the facts. We will use explanations, visual resources, examples, and practice activities to strengthen both knowledge and scientific thinking.
I can support students who need help catching up, want to consolidate what they learn at school, or are preparing for examinations. Each session is paced appropriately, with opportunities to review previous material, address misconceptions, and introduce new concepts gradually.
My priority is to make you feel comfortable, motivated, and capable throughout the learning process. With the right guidance and a clear approach, Biology can become far less overwhelming and much more fascinating. My goal is to help you make meaningful progress while developing lasting confidence in the subject.
