About Brendan
I have been a teaching assistant and tutor on and off for the last 6 years. As a teaching assistant I cannot say that all of my students did well (I did have a few courses with students numbering in the hundreds), but as a private tutor, all of my 20 or so students that I have worked with have improved by at least one letter grade when able.

I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a master's in organic chemistry. In the past I have been a teaching assistant for general chemistry, organic chemistry, and chemistry lab courses. I like to change my teaching style depending on the student. Some need a very hand holding approach and some just need encouragement. Most are in between and I am willing to work with you to find whats best.
