From sixth grade to university level classes, I have experience teaching, editing, and discussing all types of literature. I am a secondary English Language Arts teacher certified in Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia. I have six years of real-life classroom experience and know what teachers are expecting and how to conquer standardized testing. In 2015, I made a 36 on the reading and English portions of the ACT examination, so I "walk the walk" and "talk the talk." I love teaching novels and exploring creative issues in English. I am certified to teach secondary English, but have experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the English Department at a university in Alabama. I have familiarity with American literature, with limited knowledge and experience in British literature.
