About Cecilia
I am a London-based artist working across painting and animation. I completed my MA in Animation at the Royal College of Art in 2023.
My work explores dreamlike, atmospheric imagery shaped by memory and the unconscious, and has been exhibited internationally in galleries and film festivals, including Sundance Film Festival, the ICA, and Tate Modern. I have presented solo exhibitions in London and created work for collectors and institutions, including Soho House. My animations and illustrations have also been commissioned by clients such as The New York Times and The Financial Times.
Alongside my practice, I work as a tutor, supporting students in developing their ideas, confidence, and visual language through thoughtful, tailored guidance.

My teaching practice focuses on developing strong technical and foundational skills of drawing, colour theory, and composition through artistic projects and exercises that encourage a strong personal visual language.
My Sessions are tailored to the individual, whether you need support alongside lessons at school or you're a student who wants to go to art school but hasn't formally studied the subject.
My lessons provide support for building confidence and skills, and/or working towards a portfolio for university or exhibitions.
With a background in animation and painting, I bring a cinematic and narrative approach to image-making. I can support students in:
Painting (watercolour, acrylic, mixed media)
Composition, colour, and atmosphere
Developing ideas and themes
Portfolio preparation (GCSE, A-Level, art school applications)
Experimental animation and moving image
I have worked as a private tutor for 2 years, alongside teaching at the university level and offering public workshops around London.
