I believe that the best teaching methodology is able to flexibly adapt to students’ strengths and weaknesses. During the first few classes I typically assess the student's academic level as well as his or her learning style. I believe that the classroom setting should be comfortable and encouraging, as well as rigorous. Classes will be filled with fun, storytelling, and lots of probing discussion about the text which will grow the student's discernment and taste in literature.
