About Laiba

This is Laiba Khan, currently pursuing a master's in International and Area Studies from Jamia Millia Islamia. I have completed my Bachelor's in Political Science Honors from Gargi College, University of Delhi and have good command over English. I write articles and poems on the current political landscape. I am very much interested in writing about the current world order. In my undergraduate studies, my minor subject was Economics so I have a command on economic aspects too. Currently, I have written a paper owing to the imposition of tariffs by the Trump government on India and what are its future prospects. The paper also offers an insightful approach to the idea of how the US economy is affecting the Indian politico-economy aspect especially the pharmaceutical industry and textiles. It has also taken into account the effect and the tariff slabs imposed on the Middle-Eastern countries and I have connected it with the political involvement of the US in some regions too.

About the lesson

The techniques like engaging with students in interactive sessions, any activity or project that engages their creative abilities. For instance, for adults dialogue-based classes work a lot and for children, classes that involve playing-teaching aspect work better, I try to inculcate these aspects in my teaching.
