About Mara
Hi! I'm currently a Contemporary Art MA student at Sotheby's, I've completed a History of Art BA at University College London (UCL) and a Foundation in Fine Art at Central St Martins. I'm accustomed to giving lessons and helping in essay planning. I've always been passionate about art (both practically and historically) and have a good grasp of Western Art from Antiquity to Now. I also have a good understanding of French.

I teach at Sixth form level. I'm very much focused on aiding in essay writing and structure, I know all too well how challenging writing about art it. As well as, understanding historical circumstance and why art matters. I like to zero in on the specific time periods teachers are focused on and fully uncover them, and recommend texts. I'm also happy to give advice on what History of Art is like at university level.
