About Theo
I am really passionate about Biology so I spent the first part of my summer in Borneo doing fieldwork in the rainforest and for the remainder of my summer I spent my time working with a research group at Cardiff University fingerprinting shark fins. I soon to be a co-author on two conservation papers because of the work I have done so far and I'm currently studying a Master's in Biodiversity and Conservation.
I have been able to do some really cool things throughout my university studies and I want to help younger students achieve their goals and get to do stuff that they find cool by improving their grades. I really enjoy teaching and I have successfully tutored A-Level before but I am really looking forward to teaching again this year.
So whether it's human biology all the way through to biodiversity I'm hoping to help you gain the confidence and knowledge you need to enjoy your learning experience.

Year 10, 11 and sixth form are really intense periods of time with gruelling school days, so I understand how adding tutoring on top can seem like it never ends. However, my style of teaching is to assess what you understand and then use that to guide me towards what you find difficult. From there I can either build concepts you've never understood from the ground up in new ways or just fill in knowledge gaps. In this way, you will find that you feel listened to and that tutoring is a rewarding and worthwhile experience.
