Hello, I am a Masters (MPhil Medicine) graduate of the University of Manchester, previously graduating (BSc (Hons) Biochemistry) from the University of Leeds. Within the scope of my tutorials we can explore and re-learn topics from GCSE to Bachelors level Science, including triple sciences, statistics, biochemistry and introductory computer science.
I am relatively new to commercial "Tutor-for-hire" work but have previously mentored and tutored friends and through A-level and BSc level exams. Through my recent MPhil degree I had the pleasure of supervising Nuffield scheme students for which I was awarded two Nuffield Gold Crest awards, one of said students went on to secure a place at Oxford University. I enjoy passing on knowledge and enabling others to understand topics, search for their blind-spots and succeed within an exam setting.

2010–2013 Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry with Molecular Biology, The University of Leeds, BSc
Dissertation: Cancer as an Inhomogenous Disease.
This BSc programme taught me basic but essential research skills such as the keeping detailed records along with time management and strategic planning, all crucial attributes of a successful project that have served me well since.
2014–2017 Masters of Philosophy in Medicine: Bioinformatics, The University of Manchester, MPhil Pass.
Thesis: AUTS2: an in silico study.
This MPhil project afforded me the opportunity to explore topics that were not covered within my undergraduate programme, expanding my knowledge from biochemistry to neurobiology. Specific techniques I have acquired through the project include: phylogenetic analysis, sequence alignment, network analysis, applying coding to bioinformatic analysis, statistical inference, along with academic writing and presentation.
