About Allison

I am a teacher of 6 years, teaching both 7th and 8th grade Social Studies concepts, from the Scientific Revolution, to the world wars, to government, and social movements. This allows me to have a general knowledge base of many subjects.

About the lesson

Sometimes to grasp historical or political concepts, students need them explained a different way. I love to use analogies, parallels, primary source examples, and student-friendly language to make sure students are met on their level. The goal is growth and comprehension, not just memorization of basic facts.
