About Rabia
I am an aspiring language and literature teacher who aims to help students with their academic journey and help them work through their challenges. I believe in students' autonomy in learning and that teachers' role is to guide them where necessary. A good teacher not only helps students with what they need to learn at hand, but also how they can reflect on their practices and use what they have learnt to progress in their future. Learning is a skill and it can be honed through practice and a little support.

Lessons are mostly student centred and planned according to their level, lasting around an hour. Active learning is crucial to improving subject knowledge and skills. My role as a teacher is to guide students through their abilities and help them navigate through their strengths. Every lesson is tailored in accordance with students' capabilities and shortcomings in mind. This way, students do not feel overwhelmed with a lot of new information or bored due to repetition of what they already know. Learning is mostly done through tasks which help students participate in the lessons instead of passively receiving instructions.
