Lessons are customised to suit each student's musical interests and goals. Generally speaking however, I have a fairly holistic approach to learning the guitar. Some elements that I aim to cover in lessons include: Scales and arpeggios, learning to read standard notation (and tab), basic chords and strumming patterns, improvisation, aural skills and a smidgen of theory (don't worry it won't be boring!) That said, I am very flexible and happy to aim in just about any direction provided the student is motivated to learn. I should also mention that I try to have as much fun as possible in lessons, and students will unfortunately have to put up with my hysterical antics from time to time :)
