About Timur
I’m a professional clarinetist and music educator with a Master’s Degree in Clarinet from the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade. I have performed with orchestras including the Sarajevo Philharmonic, Mostar Symphony Orchestra and Sarajevo City Orchestra, and have taken part in several international orchestral academies and programs, including the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra Academy, FAMES European Orchestral Training Institute and Western Balkan Youth Orchestra.
Teaching has always been an important part of my career. I have taught clarinet and chamber music in music schools in Sarajevo, working with students of different ages and levels, and I have also served as Head of the Wind Instruments Department at Sarajevo Music High School.
I enjoy combining my experience as a performer with my experience as a teacher and helping students become confident, independent musicians. I also teach in English, with a TOEFL iBT score of 106/120, and I’m happy to work with students from around the world.

I like to keep my lessons practical, relaxed, and focused on the student. Everyone learns differently, so I adjust each lesson depending on your level and what you want to achieve.
For beginners, we’ll take things step by step and build good habits from the start. If you already play, we can work on technique, tone, articulation, repertoire, interpretation, or whatever you feel you need to improve.
I also have experience preparing students for Trinity College London exams, as well as auditions, concerts, and other performances. My goal is for you to leave each lesson having learned something useful and, most importantly, enjoying playing the clarinet.
