About Max
As a mechanical engineer in building services, I spend my day applying maths and physics to solve real-world problems. I know that these subjects can feel abstract at school, but I want to show you how they connect to everyday life and exciting careers. Teaching gives me the chance to pass on the skills and confidence that have helped me in my own journey.

My favourite approach as an engineer is to break what can seem an impossible problem down into smaller and into precise, smaller parts. Not only can I teach you how to apply this to maths, physics and chemistry but how to use this approach across every aspect in life. No challenge is too great, you just haven’t broken it down enough!
