About Jan
I am a graduate of UC Berkeley with a degree in Material Science and Engineering. I have also taken standardized tests such as SAT chemistry and AP chemistry and passed with full score. In addition, I have tutored chemistry throughout high school and college both in person and online.

I'm patient and good at breaking concepts down for students. I believe that if students understand material well, good test scores will naturally follow. Able to adapt to student learning styles whether that be solving problem sets or reviewing material on a high level. Will go out of my way to prepare lesson plans and problems for students to learn from and understand. I teach online with my iPad, screensharing and walking students through concepts and doing problems with them. Very interactive and 1-1 and very passionate about teaching chemistry!
Lessons are available for high school chemistry or any level or college level general chemistry.
