About William
Hello, I'm Will, a current college student majoring in mathematics. I have extensive tutoring experience both online and in person, and additionally, I'm a seasoned math competition veteran; so if you have ambitions to participate in one I can coach you. I am highly qualified to teach Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations. Beyond that, I can provide instruction on the basics of higher math like set theory, group theory, analysis, and proof writing.

Richard Feynman, a renowned physicist from the 20th century, once said "if you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough." This is an idea that I strive to embody in my teaching style, and also the level of understanding that I wish to empower my students to achieve. I create personalized lesson plans and study guides based both on what my students' goals are, as well as what I evaluate to be the weaknesses in their mathematical foundations. High school students and college freshman/sophomores are my preferred clientele; but I welcome advanced elementary-middle school students with an interest in math and anyone who might need a refresher on what they've previously learned at those levels.
