About Ivan
As a lifelong learner and tutor, I've always been passionate about helping others understand what once felt impossible. I started by helping friends, and then I became a teaching assistant for underclassmen in high school. Since then, I’ve focused that passion into one clear mission: disproving the myth that you need to be “naturally smart or talented” to succeed. What's the biggest reason some students struggle in the classroom and others excel? It's not as simple as work ethic, and it's definitely not just natural intelligence. As a graduate of one of the most challenging fields, and as a tutor who has raised my students’ letter grades, the real difference maker is this: someone who can meet them exactly where they are and patiently make the hardest subject feel intuitive.

Perfect! Ivan is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and is a great teacher
Perfect! I have a very unique child that requires a very special tutor. That’s what we found in Ivan. So bright and engaging my 6 year old instantly connected. Couldn’t be more happy to have Ivan in our village.
Perfect! In a one hour lesson, Ivan taught my son techniques to help him with his multiplication tables. By the end of the lesson, he was getting through them quickly. Ivan was kind and patient and gave my son a boost of confidence to look at math a different way!

Ivan worked with my son to get ready for AP calculus. Ivan was prepared, thorough, patient, and very effective as a tutor. He worked to insure my son’s needs were met. I highly recommend him.

He would also hold my son to be accountable, to be reliable and communicate with Ivan if the time & date needed to be changed.
