About Narcisa

We are all born with a vocation and I have been very lucky to discover it. I love mathematics, physics and chemistry and being able to teach my way of seeing things to students makes me very happy. In addition, the pride and satisfaction I feel when I see results together with the affection of the families make this an activity I do with great joy. They say “work on something you like and you won’t work a day”, for me it has been 5 years and every day feels like the first!

Over the last 6 years I have helped around 80 students achieve academic success. My methodology is based on a deep analysis of the student's knowledge and problems through one or more level tests (which are usually done in the test class) through which I will find out the starting point of each subject and adapt my explanations to their needs. For example, if I have the case of a student who is in 1st year of high school and needs help in mathematics, the test will consist of several exercises for each subject. I will look at how orderly they are when doing the exercises, the operations they do in each step of the equation, the control of the signs and the handling of changes in the equation, their level of mental calculation, their ability to detect problems and schematize the data, etc. Based on this, I establish personalized explanations for each one and, although at the beginning we do not follow the level of the class 100% because I need to help them have a solid base, as soon as we have it (the time varies for each student) we will recover the rhythm of the class and the results will come by themselves. I teach Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for all ESO and Baccalaureate courses, but this year I want to focus solely on Selectividad so that my students can get the grade they need to enter university in a much simpler way. Go ahead, I will be happy to help you!

Details

Exclusively online classes through meet, zoom or discord (the platform that the student knows best). I have a digital whiteboard on which I write through a graphic tablet, everything is seen in high quality and in real time. The student only has to pay attention and do exercises. When they have done them, they send me a photo and I put it on the shared screen and correct the exercise with them. In the 10 minutes before the class I send them a link with the class that they simply have to click on to enter. I have a virtual whiteboard that I broadcast in real time, without any delay. It is the same as a face-to-face class, only in the comfort of our homes. In these 6 years I have had students in San Juan de Alicante, Alicante Centro, San Gabriel, San Vicente del Raspeig, Mutxamel... And maybe all of them together in the same afternoon. Taking the car, running from one place to another, looking for parking and all this in a maximum period of 30 minutes has exhausted me a lot. It is a difficult pace to keep up with and that is why now I want to teach classes exclusively online. For these 6 years I have already had students exclusively online, and many of them have left reviews with their positive experiences, so I already have previous experience and all the means to be able to carry out this new project. I will be happy to help you!
