About Dylan
I am a senior at Harvard University that studies Applied Mathematics and Economics. I am a member and former captain of Harvard's Varsity Sailing Team, and sailing has been a huge part of my life thus far. Furthermore, I am also pursuing a Spanish language citation at Harvard and recently studied abroad this past fall in Spain where I took all my courses in Spanish. I would describe myself as a passionate teacher, having spent years teaching sailing to children of all ages (5-18) and the most important thing to me is your progress!

I am a very structured teacher that designs an organized curriculum containing all of the student's objectives. A typical lesson plan would include some theory and guided practice. I would say I am the type of teacher that is more concerned with the student's progress than anything else, so I am always willing to adjust the curriculum as needed in order to cater to a specific student's needs. Having many years of experience teaching sailing at all levels, I understand the importance of connecting with students and making classes fun while simultaneously ensuring they learn all required content. I feel confident teaching students at all levels (middle school, high school, college), and would say I am probably most helpful in mathematics and foreign language (Spanish or German). I also am very confident in teaching physics, chemistry, history, and college prep.
