About Vachel
I've worked as a teaching assistant and have tutored for relatives. My aim has always been to help students gain a deeper understanding of the material rather than simple rote learning. It doesn't have to get to the point of being metaphysical but it can help to know why a thing works that way rather than memorising three pages of formulae (which wouldn't make sense anyway because you get given the booklet during the exam and it's a waste of time and energy to try to cram textbook after textbook into your head)
