About Gerrison
I take my role as a tutor seriously and hold myself to high professional standards. Every lesson is carefully structured to maximize understanding, progress, and confidence. My extensive independent study of mathematics over the past three years has given me a strong command of both the practical techniques and the theoretical foundations behind the subject. What sets me apart is my focus on understanding mathematics at a fundamental level. Over the past three years, I have studied mathematics intensively, working through the proofs, derivations, and underlying logic behind the formulas and techniques commonly taught in school and university courses. Rather than simply teaching students what steps to follow, I explain why those steps work and when they can be applied.
I have a deep understanding of mathematical problem-solving strategies and can guide students through a wide range of situations, from routine exercises to challenging conceptual questions. Whether you're learning algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, or Calculus I and II, I can help you build intuition, strengthen your reasoning skills, and develop the confidence to tackle problems independently.
