About Tito
Hi, I'm a Sport and Exercise Science undergraduate with a strong interest in Maths, Chemistry and helping students build their confidence in these subjects.
I have recently completed Advanced Higher Maths and Chemistry, so I understand what it is like to work through challenging topics and prepare for important exams. I enjoy breaking difficult concepts down into simpler steps and finding different ways to explain something when a student doesn't understand it the first time.
Alongside my studies, I have around two years of experience coaching football with Currie FC and Tynecastle FC, working with children and young people aged 8–15. This has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience and the ability to adapt my approach to different individuals.
I am friendly, approachable and committed to helping students feel comfortable asking questions. My aim is to help students improve their understanding, confidence and ability to work independently.

My lessons are focused on making Maths and Chemistry easier to understand by breaking difficult topics down into clear, manageable steps. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
I will adapt lessons to each student's individual needs, whether they need help understanding a specific topic, preparing for an upcoming assessment or building their confidence in the subject. I can explain concepts in different ways, work through examples step-by-step and provide practice questions to help reinforce learning.
Having recently studied both Maths and Chemistry at Advanced Higher level, I understand the challenges students can face with these subjects. I also have around two years of experience working with young people through football coaching, which has helped me develop patience, communication skills and the ability to adapt my approach to different learners.
My goal is not just to help students get the right answers, but to help them understand **why** the answer is correct and become more confident working independently.
