About Michael
I am a tutor who has had a great deal of experience tutoring KS1, KS2 children for Maths and English/literacy in preparation for the SAT's examinations. More so I aim to give confidence and inspiration to shy or unchallenged children. For children or adults that desire to learn the piano (which can lead onto many other instruments in time) then I enjoy giving the student the opportunity to learn and relish and challenge their enthusiasm.

I use a lot of practical examples to get across my message.
If in the maths context I'm talking about volume - then I will bring in different sizes of bottles (filled with water) so that they can gauge weight but stare at the volume - is it 500 ml, 1 Litre and what is the equivalent cl measurement?
With English we test the spellings, look over text and learn how to highlight the most interesting text in preparation of questions the examiner may test you on.
