About Philippe
I am a Mathematics graduate currently studying art History in London. I am looking to teach Mathematics and Further Mathematics at both A-level and GCSE level. Whilst I have little teaching experience, I have extensive knowledge of what is expected of students for school level mathematics, allowing me to ensure that students achieve the best grades they can.

My teaching methods are entirely based on the students and will be different for students with different ability. For students with a good grasp on the content of the syllabus, I will focus on teaching exam technique, as teaching those students what is expected of them and making sure they understand the marking criteria is the best way to ensure good grades. For students that are struggling with the content, I aim to break down the key concepts into their most basic forms, which I have found the best way to both explain the core ideas and inspire confidence in the student. I believe that inspiring confidence in the student will not only improve their grades, but will also increase their enjoyment of the subject.
