A maths student who loves to go to the gym

Christi was an excellent mentor, who helped me with my progress exponentially. This year, I was able to land an Oxford interview for PPE and that was not even something I would of considered without Christi's help.

He was able to consistently help me with any sort of problem solving questions that I was unable to solve in maths, physics and further maths. He taught me skills as well as short cuts, that I was not taught in lesson. He has helped me so much with my sixth form work that was significantly harder than I had anticipated.

He is an excellent teacher who is clearly able to translate and communicate hard concepts and ideas present in mathematics, especially within further mathematics.

Christi tutored me for maths when I was in year 11 preparing for my GCSE’s. Prior to having a tutor, I found certain topics quite hard to understand and also, I was confused as to how to apply my knowledge to an exam question. There wasn’t enough time in class to ask the teacher to go over certain topics in more detail.
However, Christi taught me different ways in which I could approach a question and broke the content down to make it easier to understand. He was very patient and would explain how to answer a question in order to get full marks as many times as I needed. Having had Christi as a tutor pushed me to work harder and I really began to uncover my love for maths again. He was very passionate about his subject as his energy was so positive every time we met and it clear that he wanted me to do well. With his help, I moved from a grade D to eventually getting an A in GCSE maths, I cannot thank him enough!!
