About Joshua
I’ve taught for 11 years at a secondary school where I have overseen numerous GCSE and A Level maths classes. During this time, I have worked as the KS5 Co-ordinator, which involved developed the A Level curriculum as well as teaching the AQA Level 2 Certificate in Further Maths to help high achieving year 11s to bridge the gap and take A level maths.

I teach to these levels at a tutoring centre in Southchurch, Southend-on-Sea, where lessons are one-to-one, paired or in a group. Lessons are 1 hour in length and are focused on developing mathematical understanding, improving exam technique and applying mathematical knowledge to problem solving questions where students learn how to decipher methods from worded scenarios. I teach all ages from secondary school.
