About Ryan

Hello! My name is Ryan —I’m a student at McGill University, fluent in English, and have scored 8.0 on the IELTS exam (best possible grade), demonstrating a high level of writing listening and speaking skills. I’m passionate about language and communication, and I approach every lesson with patience, structure, and enthusiasm. Whether you’re aiming to improve your speaking, writing, or grammar, I’m here to help you make real progress!!! With me, you’ll learn methodology in a calm, respectful, and most importantly, warm and motivating environment, guided by someone who understands both the challenges and necessary skills to master English.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on building clarity, confidence, and real-world fluency. My methodology is student-centered: I adapt each lesson to your needs, goals, and level. I break complex grammar and vocabulary into simple, practical steps, using real examples and interactive practice. A typical lesson includes: A short review of grammar or key vocabulary Speaking or writing practice based on a real-life scenario or topic Correction and feedback, with clear explanations Confidence-building exercises mainly speaking drills and timed writing, and listening What sets me apart is my academic training at McGill, my IELTS score of 8.0, and my experience teaching with passion and warmth. I know how to help students go from “learning” English to truly mastering it. My lessons are ideal for: High school and university students IELTS or TOEFL or TOEIC candidates Professionals or adults wanting to improve fluency or writing Anyone looking to speak English naturally and correctly No matter your level, I’ll help you progress with patience, energy, and results.

Taking Ryan as my English professor was one of the best decisions and investments I have made and within a short period of time felt far more confident in my ability to speak and read. Could not recommend him more.
