About Julianne
As a tutor, my goal is to help students understand the information they get from class in a way that might not otherwise be available to them. I strive to make sure I provide a comfortable environment for each student, and ensure each student feels they are getting the most out of their sessions. My priority is helping students improve their grades and knowledge while providing a fun learning environment that makes learning easy.

I take the concepts students struggle with and apply the concept to a scenario they can understand. Beyond having a student memorize a definition, I will help them identify the concept which applies to a problem and how to recognize key words that relate to the learning points.
A typical session consists of a brief review of the last session's topics, establishing difficulties the student has with material obtained before the current session, and developing a strategy to break down each problem topic into an easy to understand idea.
Tutoring sessions are open for students in an introductory psychology, developmental psychology, or industrial/organizational psychology course.
