About Jacob

I have experience with math and science in many different backgrounds. The majority of my experience is with mechanical engineering; however, I've done internships and jobs relating to data analysis and software engineering. I know there are many qualified candidates that you can choose from; however, I also have experience as a teacher through multiple teaching assistant roles while in graduate school as well as teaching assistant roles in undergraduate school. I also have experience with tutoring while in undergraduate school. I want to help make hard-to-understand complicated concepts easier to understand by breaking them down into small bite-size pieces of information while tailoring the teaching style to the student's specific needs.

About the lesson

-typical session
- concept explanation (if applicable)
- example problem
- guided practice problems
- flexibility to adapt a lesson plan to how you learn (I don't want to force my learning styles or others learning styles on you)

I can help math and science classes for middle to high school and most math courses for undergraduate level.

Jacob has a great attitude every session. He comes with a smile and has the patience to answer all of my questions. I couldn’t recommend a better a tutor!

Jacob is a wonderful and trustworthy teacher. He doesn't judge me when I can't figure something out, instead he gently works through the problem with me, implementing different problem solving solutions
