About Eric
I am a mechanical/product design engineer currently working on my PhD in computational biomechanics at TU Delft. I have 6 years of experience tutoring and teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses. Before deciding to continue my education, I worked in the automated tooling design and consumer product design fields in California.

My teaching method is designed to help students develop the analytical skills and resourcefulness that will help them throughout their carriers. I believe that even the most complicated idea can be broken down into simple concepts that anyone can understand. My goal is to teach student how to do it for themselves. To that end, I make extensive use of analogies and examples from my practical experience to explain abstract and often dry topics, and to highlight not only HOW something is done, but WHY it's done.
