About Emily
I am a 2nd year mechanical engineering student at the University of Strathclyde, who studied maths and physics to advanced higher, and carried maths on into first year of university. I was a class helper in both maths and physics in my 6th year at school, and also have experience in teaching through my hockey coaching.

I believe that every pupil should be able to learn in a judgement free environment. This will help them further their knowledge without fear of making mistakes, and the student would be able to carry this ethos forward in their future career. I believe that a student should be able to ask questions whenever they feel they need, but I also don't believe the answer should be given straight to them. It should be worked through step by step, showing them the methodology for further examples. Example based learning is at the forefront of my teaching, as you do not learn without practise.
