About Joy
Along with having experience as a teacher assistant, I've taken many peer-tutor opportunities throughout my high school years, helping struggling students better understand foundational concepts they'll need later on, or helping with basic review. I hope to take my experience online to help those who need it!

Unlike math, biology and biochemistry require a more thorough understanding of different systems and environments, rather than the use of formulas. While these subjects tend to be reading-heavy, techniques such as active recall and application questions help reinforce and solidify information. If you are a high school student who needs help understanding new concepts, reviewing for a test or exam, or simply solidifying class material, I'd be glad to help!
