About Ross
I'm an award-winning writer and director of short documentary-comedy films and here to share my expertise with you. I've been teaching for 3 years now and I've developed effected lesson strategies for students to produce content.
My role as a media lecturer is multi-faceted with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities, and the nature of the job requires me to regularly keep myself up to date with the latest changes in media technologies.Some of my roles include preparing and implementing effective lesson plans covering required course topics, using different instructional techniques to obtain and retain student interest in subject matter, especially during remote work. I am regularly given course overviews and it is my duty to construct coursework within that remit. I've learned from experience that classwork that delivers effective results must be balanced between healthy doses of theoretical and practical work to cater for all students skill-sets and interests. I teach a range of topics related to video production and have branched out in to other areas comfortably when required. This role has inspired me to be motivational and encourage other young people enthusiastic about the media industry in achieving their goals.

Have you ever wanted to learn about video production or screen-writing? Unsure about the crazy world of writing, directing and editing? I'm here to help! Whether you're looking to learn new skills for your own passions or to help promote your business, I will tailor lessons specifically to your interests.
We will go through the basics of industry standard software such as Photoshop & Adobe Premiere Pro and construct excellent videos and art work together.
Take it at your own pace. If all you've got is IMovie, no problem - we can work with that!

Ross is a very good tutor and has helped me become a better writer and improved my story telling ability. If I am quite honest I don’t think my writing skills would be as good without him. I would also recommend him because he is one of the most patient teachers I have ever met and is always there to help with what ever you need help with.
Ross has been offering tuition on creative writing to my teenage son for a couple of years now. He is enthusiastic, approachable and very patient. He is reliable and very committed to his students. I would definitely recommend Ross as a tutor.
Very patient person and very fun to talk to even during a difficult subject. Amazing at keeping up with the pace which he student is at and following progression.
