About Leon
My tutoring experience began in college, when I began preparing students for their ACTs and SATs as a freelance tutor. Throughout my time at UCSB, I worked on earning an Honors Distinction and was able to hone my teaching and presenting skills as part of small group sessions with peers. My excellent performance on my coursework in school and on standardized tests (ACT, SAT, SATII Math/Chinese/Biology, and the MCAT) pushed me to help other students excel in these fields as well. My experience in tutoring and academic proficiency means that I guarantee improvement in all my students.
