All about having a good foundation and using past year papers to understand what the exam requires. I incorporate fun into the lessons to maintain concentration and enjoy the experience. Understanding basics is the most important factor to me!
I have been giving lessons since being in 6th Form (4 years) to younger students who required subject help, often assisting to boost their grades up 1 or 2 boundaries (i.e from A to A*). I am currently a Medical Student at King's College London.
Relevant experience: 10A*s and 1A at iGCSE, 4A*s and 1A at A-Level (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Further Mathematics AS).
I play the piano, drum kit and violin at Grade 8 Level. I am also on the university Rugby Team.
Uma was my past tutor and she really helped me with areas in maths I was struggling with and gave me a lot more confidence in the subject. She explained things really clearly and was really patient when I didn’t understand some concepts.
I had Uma tutor me through my final year of iGCSE Maths and she helped me secure a top A* grade. She provided excellent resources, feedback on my work and gave me insightful alternative ways to view problems when I couldn't tackle them the first try. I would definitely recommend her
