I am a medical student with A*s at A2 level in both Maths and Further Maths. I would like to tutor students in these subjects up to A2 level as well. I would like to aid students who have a good mathematical ability but haven't gained the foundation of maths. In terms of my teaching style, I believe in learning and working from first principles. I put a large emphasis on understanding rather than just rote memorization. I find many students don't understand maths from the basic level from which they must build up and so I would tailor my lessons to building up towards the final goal of the hardest questions, I think knowledge application is key in maths.
I am a medical student. I have mentored two students previously at GCSE level. Would like to use my maths abilities and continue to practice maths through tutoring as I have an aptitude for it but don't get to exercise said aptitude in my degree.
