About Sylvia
Currently a final year medical student, I did junior UEC in Chong Hwa independent high school (8A’s including Art), subsequently IGCSE at Taylor’s (11A*’s with top-in-the-world for Chemistry & first language mandarin). I then did my A levels in MCKL, completing with 4A’s in 3 sciences and maths. I have an art background for 10 years now and I still do watercolour painting and calligraphy as a hobby. I enjoy learning and helping people learn:)

I believe that students benefit from effortful learning, so I will base my class on regular (relaxed) testing or discussion on topics to ease exam-related anxiety so that students can also do equally as well in exams. But more importantly, I emphasise on understanding (organised) concepts before introducing memorisation techniques for a material to be consolidated.
