About Zara
I am a penultimate year medical student with a previous degree in Biomedical Science. I have tutored maths and english up to GCSE and I am happy to teach all sciences to this level, plus biology (including anatomy and physiology to university level.

I base my classes on the British national curriculum and my science knowledge on UK A-Levels, a BSc and a pending MBBS (medicine and surgery degree). The theory aspects of my medical degree were conducted using a mix of problem based learning and traditional lectures. PBL sessions involved regular presentations and the explanation of detailed pathophysiology to a group, this coupled with speaking to patients on a daily basis has ensured my articulation skills have been highly developed. I am very patient and understand the frustrations students may feel understanding difficult concepts since I've been there myself quite recently - we will work through it together and at a pace to suit you.
