About Isla

I have studied GCSE and A level biology in England before studying medicine at Glasgow university where I have studied anatomy and physiology. I have given small group teaching on anatomy and I have experience teaching English to non-native speakers.

About the lesson

I'm a 4th year medical student and will tutor up to this level. The first lesson will be to understand what you know and areas to focus on in future lessons which I'll plan for! Easy going and friendly teaching.

Perfect! I am getting such a lot out of my lessons with Isla and was very lucky to find her first time round with Superprofs. On the academic side, she clearly knows her stuff vis-à-vis anatomy and physiology and the applied clinical aspects thereof, and even goes the extra mile in addressing the more obscure scientific themes I tend to get bogged down in . Her teaching style is very clear, well judged, pragmatic and tailored to my needs. She is very well prepared for each lesson and a true confidence-builder, as well as being very personable and friendly.
