About Jenna
I am an 18-year-old Scottish University student, currently studying at St. Andrews University. I study Medieval History and Archeology as well as Modern History and Philosophy. I love history and everything it has to offer, from its wide-ranging topics as well as quirky little facts, it is by far my favourite subject to study.
I love teaching as well as reading, I'm known to constantly have my nose in a book, whether it's a non-fiction biographical book or a fiction period romance, you name it and I love it.
I am also a rower for St. Andrews and love going out with my friends, I like to view myself as friendly and welcoming, so hopefully, tutoring sessions won't be too formal, more chilled and moulded to each individual.

When it comes to tutoring I believe in finding a starting point. The first meeting with me will be about understanding each other's expectations as well as figuring out what topics we need to cover.
I believe when it comes to subjects like history, it is not only important to look at the topics within the subject itself but to also learn how to write the perfect essay or at least figure out the perfect structure that is expected.
I would preferably meet through zoom calls for 1 to 1 and a half hours each day depending on your needs. I am generally available 7 days a week.
I have previously tutored friends and family as well as my fellow students, and I have noticed that essay structures and fitting knowledge into essays are important for exams and understanding the subject fully.
I am also more than willing to fix how I tutor around to meet the student and their needs. I try to be as helpful as possible as it all depends on the student and their understanding of the subject in the end.
