About Gemma
I am currently studying at the University of Melbourne as a biomedicine student and after finishing my undergraduate degree I hope to study medicine. My dream is to work as a paediatrician as I love working with children, an aspect of my personality that I think draws me to teaching. I balance my studies with hobbies, such as running and baking, as I believe that having a positive and healthy work life balance is essential to success, another thing I encourage my students to establish within their study habits.

Through 1 hour (or longer if requested) teaching sessionsI use collaborative and personalised teaching techniques to further students understanding of biology and chemistry. My extensive study of chemistry and biology in my bachelor of biomedicine degree has equiped me to effectively tutor these subjects. I have tutored for a year now and ensure that students develop positive study habits as well as better understanding of their subjects. My lessons are for students studying science in any year of high school and students studying Biology or Chemistry in VCE.
