About Aicha
Hi! I am currently an Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Sheffield, hoping to get into spacecraft engineering.
I am an Arkwright Engineering Scholar who has achieved all A*s in A level physics, maths, further maths, and product design, and am looking forward to help other students to do the same!
I already have experience with students between Y7 and Y11, and am now offering tutoring to sixth form/college students.

I am offering GCSE and A level tutoring for maths, further maths and physics. Lessons are typically an hour, however this can be adapted if needed. If students need help between lessons, they can message me anytime and I will provide any support I can!
Typically, I use the first lesson to get to know the student, understand their current level, and identify which teaching methods work best for them. I will discuss with the student what they would like to achieve and any areas they feel they need to improve. From this, I will create a long-term plan to structure our session.
I use a combination of different methods depending on what works best for each student. This includes clear explanations and demonstrations, worked examples, questioning and discussion, interactive activities, practice questions, all with regular feedback. I think it's important to encourage students to explain their thinking and work through problems independently, as I believe this helps develop both their understanding and confidence.
I will regularly review the student's progress and adapt lessons where necessary, making sure that we focus on areas that need the most attention. My aim is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their skills at their own pace.
