About Payton
Hello! My name is Payton and I am an English teacher. My story is a little complicated, but it starts with me graduating from college in 2023. At my graduation, I was awarded two different achievements in my field. My daughter was born just two weeks after I walked across the stage! Yep. That's right. I actually did my entire student teaching while pregnant. Fast forward a few months: I took a job teaching ninth and tenth grade English. I absolutely loved it. They have no idea, but those kids taught me more about my job than any college course. Ultimately, I missed my daughter more than I ever could have imagined. This led me to put my teaching career on pause for a while to become a stay at home mom. However, I find myself missing those valuable interactions with students, and I would love to be able to help others reach their goals via tutoring!
