About Rachel

I taught math at the high school level for 11 years and have been a special education teacher for the past two years. I have worked with a variety of students and have an understanding of students with disabilities. I am also a mother to a son who is on the autism spectrum.

About the lesson

I thrive on making math understandable to all. I tie real life examples into math lessons as often as I can.When it comes to teaching math, I understand that many students struggle to get the hook and I have the patience needed to help a student persevere!
