About Taja
I am a graduate of Howard University and Cal State University of Long Beach teacher credential program. I have been a teacher in Long Beach Unified School District for 10+ years. I have been tutoring students since I was a high school student. I love to see students learn and make progress towards their learning goals.

My style of tutoring encourages students to become confident learners. I assess students capabilities to create customized lessons that are fun and engaging. We will target 2-3 skills to focus on during each session. I include brain breaks and achievement incentives to keep students motivated.
