About Katir
I am an experienced Spanish tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, working with High School and College students. Over the 7 years, I have successfully taught around 150–200 students, helping them build strong Spanish language skills and confidence.
My teaching philosophy is based on understanding, patience, and regular practice. I believe students learn best when lessons are clear and easy to follow. I focus on grammar basics, vocabulary building, pronunciation, and conversation practice. I also include listening and writing exercises to help students develop complete language skills.
One of my key achievements is helping students improve their academic results. Many students who found Spanish difficult at first have shown steady progress and better exam scores. I have also helped students become confident speakers through guided conversation practice.
I create a supportive and friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to make Spanish learning enjoyable, effective, and useful for academic success and future opportunities.

My approach to teaching Spanish focuses on creativity, critical thinking, mentorship, and accountability. I aim to make lessons engaging, practical, and easy to follow for students of all levels.
I use creative activities like dialogues, role plays, storytelling, and real-life examples. These methods help students understand Spanish naturally and apply it confidently in everyday situations.
As a mentor, I guide students through grammar, encourage critical thinking, and help them analyse sentence structures. I support independent learning and build students’ confidence in speaking and writing.
Accountability is maintained through goal setting, regular practice, and progress tracking. Students are encouraged to stay disciplined and responsible for their improvement.
In addition to Spanish, I teach related subjects such as vocabulary building, pronunciation skills, conversational Spanish, grammar basics, and cultural knowledge.
