About Camila
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Keyboard Studies and a Master of Music in Piano Performance. During the last 10 years, I have worked with students of various ages and experience levels, helping them build strong musical skills and confidence. My love for piano developed through performance opportunities, collaborative music-making, and years of dedicated study. Teaching became a natural extension of that passion because I enjoy helping others discover what they can achieve. Supporting student growth continues to inspire me every day.
My teaching style combines patience, structure, and flexibility. I understand that every learner has different strengths, goals, and learning preferences. Lessons are adapted to individual needs while maintaining a clear path toward improvement. Students receive practical guidance that helps them overcome challenges and build confidence. This creates a positive and productive learning environment.
Outside teaching, I enjoy accompanying performers, studying new repertoire, and exploring music education methods. These interests help me bring fresh ideas into lessons. Watching students achieve goals they once thought difficult is deeply rewarding. I strive to create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and effective. My goal is to help learners develop a lifelong appreciation for music.

My piano lessons are designed to help students become confident musicians while enjoying the learning process. Students develop finger independence, note-reading fluency, rhythm accuracy, hand coordination, dynamic control, ear training, and expressive performance skills through structured and engaging activities. I believe that strong musical foundations should be built alongside creativity and enjoyment. Lessons encourage learners to understand how musical ideas connect rather than simply memorizing information. This creates deeper understanding and lasting progress.
Each student receives a personalized learning plan based on their goals and interests. Some learners focus on contemporary music and accompaniment techniques, while others enjoy classical repertoire and technical development. Activities may include duet playing, rhythm training, sight reading exercises, improvisation practice, keyboard harmony, and performance preparation. Students receive clear explanations and constructive feedback that support continuous growth. This balanced approach keeps lessons both challenging and enjoyable.
My goal is to help students become independent musicians who feel confident exploring new musical ideas. As skills improve, learners gain greater freedom to express themselves creatively. Lessons encourage discipline, curiosity, and self-belief. Every accomplishment strengthens both musicianship and confidence. I want students to feel inspired by their progress and excited about future possibilities.
